Course of Fire: Match is shot on a 200 yard electronic target system. CMP GSMM course 'A' 35 round match. 5 sighters in any position, 10 rounds slow fire prone (single load) in 15 min, 10 rounds rapid prone starting from a standing position with required reload in 80 seconds. 10 rounds standing slow fire (single load) in 10 min.

Medals will be awarded for each rifle category meeting CMP medal award standards.

Eligible firearms: Meeting the requirements set out in the CMP rulebook. A list of common firearms that can be used in GSMM matches. M1 Garand, Springfield 1903/A3, 1917, Enfields, Mosin Nagant, Mauser, or just about any vintage military rifle in original configuration. M1A, FAL, CETME, AR15 with 4.5 power scope or AR15 iron sights. If you have any questions on eligible qualifying firearms contact the match director. Ball, surplus or match ammo only. No tracer, armor piercing or steel core ammo.

Entry Fee:  Non DSRPC will have a $10 entry fee at the front gate to enter the range. Each (35 rounds match) will have a $10/each entry fee with the opportunity to shoot 2 matches. Junior shooters, 18 years and younger will have match fees waived.

Equipment Needed: Firearm with ammunition, extra magazines, clips or stripper clips for rapid fire. You will need to have a phone or tablet that is able to connect with wifi for the electronic targets. Tablets for the electronic targets will no be provided.
Optional equipment which is recommend but not required: Shooting mat, shooting coat, jacket or sweet shirt, shooting glove or heavy welding type glove, sling from rifle. If you do not have some of these items don’t let it discourage you, there will be some extras at the match.
