November ViMBAR Match

Sunny with light winds for this month’s match. Jim and Bill set up five stages, all ten rounds, starting with:

Stage One. A ‘shoot-til-you-hit, shoot-til-you-miss’ scenario with a medium target and ‘Gary’ at 300yds. From prone supported position.

Sitting supported on Stage Two, with targets at 100, 200, 300 and 400yds. Engage until hit and move to the next target. Then repeat. Two minutes allowed with sight adjustment, three minutes without. Two points for all hits on the farthest target.

A Nevada Sweep on Stage Three, from sitting unsupported position. Mixed shape targets at 150, 175 and 200yds.

Six pistol rounds to start Stage Four with bonus points for shooting strong hand only for the last three shots. Another ‘shoot-til-you-hit, shoot-til-you-miss’ scenario, from standing position. Targets at 150 and 200yds.

The tie breaker, Stage Five, started with the grenade pitch and then six pistol rounds at a 25yd. target. Then engage a single 160yd. target from standing position. Move to prone unsupported, reload and engage a single 220yd. target.

Possible high score of 70.
