2023 DSRPC Nevada M1 Garand State
Championship Civilian Marksmanship Program

Date of Match: Sunday July 30th 2023. Sign-up starts at 7:30.
Match will start at 8:30.

Location: Desert Sportsmans Rifle and Pistol Club, 12201 W
Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89135. Range 6 under canopy shade.

Competition open to: This is an as-issued M1 Garand rifle match. Bring your own ammo. No armor piercing, tracer, incendiary ammo allowed. Out of state participation is allowed and eligible for championship.

There will be a Course A and a Course B champion. You can only shoot in one match. The course B match will determine the State Champion.

There are 10 firing points at the range with electronic targets.

Match Entry Fee: $10 gate fee for non-DSRPC members, junior shoot for free.
$25 for Course “A” 35 round match
$25 for Course “B” 55 round match

Rules: 4.2.2 As-Issued M1 Garand. Rifles must meet the 4.5 pound pull requirement.
Course of Fire: There will 2 match options. The course A (35 round match) or Course B (55 round match).

Following CMP match rules and course of fire.

The match is shot at 200 yards for the entire match. Each relay
will shoot the entire match before rotating to next relay.

Course A: 35 round match.
15 rounds slow fire prone, first 5 rounds are sighters followed by
10 rounds for record in 15 minutes
10 rounds rapid fire prone from standing in 80 seconds
10 rounds slow fire standing in 10 minutes.

Course B: 55 round match
25 rounds slow fire prone, first 5 rounds are sighters followed by
20 rounds for record in 15 minutes
10 rounds rapid fire prone from standing in 80 seconds
10 rounds rapid fire sitting from standing in 70 seconds
10 rounds slow fire standing in 10 minutes.
