December ViMSAR Match

Bright with very light winds for this month’s match. Five stages, all ten rounds. Snipers shot the same course of fire unless otherwise stated.

A hostage scenario on Stage One, engaging a single 300yd. target. Minus points for hitting hostage. From prone supported position.

Alternating targets at 400 and 200yds. on Stage Two, from sitting supported position. Bonus points for all hits on the far target.

A shooter’s choice on Stage Three, between a medium and large 300yd. target, alternating with a smaller 150yd. target. Bonus points for all hits on the smaller 300yd. target. Sitting unsupported position.

A ‘shoot-til-you-hit, shoot-til-you-miss’ scenario on Stage Four, with targets at 225 and 175yds. From standing position. Sitting unsupported for snipers.

The tie breaker, Stage Five, started with the grenade pitch and then six pistol rounds at a tall, skinny 30yd. target. Then from any unsupported position, engage targets at 220, 160 and 120yds, Nevada Sweep.

Possible high score of 69.
