On Wednesday evening, January 6, 2016, the security shack at DSRPC was vandalized.
Entry through the rear door was gained by busting out the rear window. A spotting scope, binoculars, and a club flip phone were taken. No confidential member info was compromised.
The shacks’ fire extinguisher was used to coat the entire interior and its contents with ammonia hydroxide, which is highly toxic. The cleanup will cost the club over $2,000. A police report was filed with Metro and CSI has gone over the scene. They are pursuing several leads.
