This was the eighth match of our season and our luck finally ran out with the weather. The winds were blowing so bad that they were knocking the pins of the stands and blowing over the steel knockdown targets. Our EZ Up shade cover was blown apart and I think I removed a pound of grit from each of my guns.
This was our annual three gun match and we were on Range 10 bay “F” because of the USPSA Nationals. We set up a simple course as the conditions on that range were very bad for our needs.
Shooter started with a handgun and took out 6 pins before picking up his shotgun and running to stage two where several clay birds were engaged before you could engage a stop plate. The range was reset for the Subgun stage, where the shooter had to take out steel and clay targets.
A three man team event followed the main match. Each team member had a different type gun. Matt Adams is working on our new website and hopefully soon it will be up and running so we can post some pictures. Thanks Matt, we are looking forward to it.
Next month will be a Subgun Only match. Match will on May 11th at 0900. Setup at 0800.
